Hello everyone...figured I better post an update for you all since Adam is now figuring out how to post video of our little guy. Jackson turned 5 months old this past Friday the 9th. Can't believe he is almost 1/2 year old already. The time sure does go fast.
Jackson is over 2ft tall now and over 12lbs. He's got the bobble head control down pat now for the most part and very alert. He has begun the stages of teething....chewing on his hands nonstop and drooling a lot. If you get near his mouth with anything he tries to naw on it. He's reacting to us by cooing and awwing back. He will jabber on a bit laying in his crib or pack n play when he wakes up...then decides he's had enough and screams for us. He still HATES doing tummy time. Although he is getting stronger with his upper body, he still can't roll over or anything, but he will get there soon enough. His hair is getting darker and thicker each day and we really notice how much more hair he has when it's bath time and time to suds up the locks. He continues to love his baths and would rather stand up with your help than sit on your lap. (is that a sign he will walk before he crawls...who knows!). Adam says he has a death grip with his little hands. They are shockingly strong that is for sure. Everyone who meets our little man comments on what bright eyes he has. They have gone from the dark midnight black when he was born to a bright blue now. He loves being outside no matter what you are doing he'd rather be out there than inside. He has learned there is a lot to see and do so now has decided that fighting sleep is the norm.
