Well, here are a few recent pictures of Mr. Jackson. He's getting bigger and bigger everyday. We estimate he is over 10lbs now...double his birth weight! Way to go little man! Although we've been battling the acid reflux lately we think we have gotten a handle on it and he is doing much better. Yeah! Grandma Vicki (Sara's Mom) is getting used to taking care of him daily while Adam and I are both back at work. We took him for his 2 month pictures at Sears a couple of weeks ago. Hope to post some of those pictures soon. They turned out really cute!
This week Nana (Judy-Adam's mom) is here for a visit and watching Jackson for us. He is twice the size he was the last time she was here with him and changed a lot. He's loving all the attention.
Jackson has figured out how to really move that little noggin of his around. He's still sort of bobbleheadish though. Hasn't quite got control of the forward motion he tends to slam into us on occasion forgetting how heavy his little head is. But he's loving being alert and "seeing" things. He discovered Ella our kitty they other day with Grandma. They apparently had a little staring contest going on. Ella is a pretty protective little momma kitty. She goes to him when he cries and looks at us like "hey...take care of this thing making noise". Although when he hits certain octaves crying she runs for the hills! Hehe.
We've officially moved Jackson into his cloth diapers now that he is bigger and they are working great. Knock on wood he's never had any sort of rash at all in them and they are pretty easy to care for. Not to mention they are stinking cute with all the colors we have!
Jackson is taking more and more "trips" outdoors and is intrigued by what he finds there. Can't wait for the weather to stay mild and get rid of the rain so we can spend more time "discovering" the great outdoors. I think we may have to hunt down a swing for the backyard soon!
We are quickly approaching 3 months...on Mother's day next Sunday :) Time certainly flies by.
